Lead up progression for hitters to feel femoral internal rotation. With the knee stable, you can feel the rear hip begin its internal rotation and the adductors activate. 

Single-Leg (SL) Med Ball Toss:

The Single Leg Med Ball Toss is designed to to feel the "pull back" created through the lead leg. To develop more stabilization of the lead leg while creating rotational force similar to the striding patterns in a swing, the rear hip must snap forward causing the lead leg to "pull back" into the ground.
