TOMMY GUY

QUARTERBACK COACH

Tom Guy finished his career as the most prolific passer in AIC history while leading the Yellow Jackets to a record of 27-15 and the Eastern Football Conference title in 2000. The 2000 EFC Freshman of the Year was a three-time all-conference selection. Guy finished as the career leader in yards of total offense (9,229), passing yardage (9,247), pass attempts (1,162), completions (636) and touchdown passes (73), and in 2002 set the single-season record for yards of total offense (3,030), passing yardage (3,003), pass attempts (416) and completions (218). Professionally, Coach Guy played overseas in Germany with the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes.

Matt Sullivan

Linebackers Coach

Coach Sullivan has coached high school and college athletes for the past 15 years. Currently. He attended Springfield College from 1995 – 1999 where he played the Offensive Line for 3 years. He coached at East Longmeadow High School in 2001 and 2002 and is currently the head football coach at East Longmeadow High School. Coach Sullivan previously coached at WNEC for 6 years as Offensive Coordinator, Running Backs, Linebacker Coach and Defensive Line Coach.

VALDAMAR T. BROWER

Defensive Line COACH

Coach Brower brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the Academy Football Staff. As a former 2x-All American selection at the University of Massachusetts and four-year starter for the Minutemen, he has tremendous first-hand knowledge of competing at the highest level. Coach Brower now serves as the Head Coach of the Central High School football team, having compiled 11 years of coaching experience at the high school level with three Western Massachusetts Superbowl Titles.

 

RICHARD WILLIAMS

Offensive Line Coach

Coach Williams brings a wealth of coaching knowledge to the Academy Football Program. Currently serving as the Assistant Coach for Central High School, he has helped lead the team to 3 Western Mass Superbowl titles, 4 AA conference titles and has multiple athletes go on to achieve all-conference and all-state awards. Additionally, Coach Williams has worked at various football venues including "Hog Works" (Worcester State Football), Westfield State University football camp, Cutting Edge Football and Elite Athletic Development Camps.
